The Accurate Valiant BV-300-SPJ Slow Pitch Jigging Reel is specifically designed with the Slow Pitch Jigging (SPJ) enthusiast in mind. Accurate took the popular Valiant 300 model, removed the clicker, and added a new handle with optimised arm length and the SPJ knob for added comfort while jigging. The curved design of the frame and sideplate allowed for a reel design that is incredibly light, but extremely strong, in addition to being the lightest series of reels on the market, the Valiant has incredible free spool, allowing you to fish the reel all day and focus on fighting the fish, not your tackle. With its 6:1 gear ratio, the BV-300-SPJ provides the ideal combination of retrieve speed and cranking power.

The Valiant also boasts Accurate’s new easy-find “Cam Stop” feature – a fail-safe that prevents you from going too far into full drag during the heat of battle. Instead of having stops at free-spool and strike, this reel has a secure indent in the drag cam that stops the drag lever from going into full.
