The Reel
The Accurate Obsidian OBS-600N Jigging Reel is
designed and tested to suit New Zealand’s own unique fishing
environment. It’s built around jigging and live bait applications.
With a redesigned milled power arm, Accurate’s patented TwinDrag
technology, and stainless steel anti-reverse bearing, the Accurate
Obsidian is made to handle whatever monster fish comes your
way.

TwinDrag System
Traditional fishing reel design applied drag to only one side of
the reel spool. With the Accurate TwinDrag System, equal pressure
is applied to both sides of the spool, meaning the bearings and
spool receive a more balanced load, translating into stronger,
smoother drags, while the dual-drag design also doubles heat
dissipation. The TwinDrag design requires less pressure to be
applied to each side of the spool, allowing precise drag settings
with extremely little drag fluctuation.

DirecShift System
The Accurate DirecShift mechanism offers you instant power of
2-speed shifting while at the rail during those heated battles with
big game fish. The Accurate patented 2-speed mechanism lets you
control the battle by instantly shifting from high to low or vice
versa, directly.
